Review: Manfrotto Pro Light Reloader Tough 55 Carry-On Hard Case Roller

Overview: Store, transport and protect two DSLRs, an optional 400mm f/2.8 lens accessory and three or four lens attachments and associated accessories in the Manfrotto Pro Light Reloader Tough 55 Black High Lid Carrying Case. This IP67 waterproof lightweight has a Velcro divider insert with a foam cover and closure and a metal strap for an optional closure. Photographers will appreciate the inner strap and tripod mounting system. Move the bag by the side handles or roll it up with the retractable handle and integrated wheels.

Feature:
  • A tough, lightweight case designed for Italian photography
  • IP67 . Test Passed
  • Equipped with a tripod mounting system.
  • Safe release system.
  • Protection level IP67
  • The TL-55 low cover and TH-55 high cover are available in two versions

Quality / Ease of Use: The My Pelikan 1510 hard holster is very popular and I mostly use it with the TrekPak split system. However, I am starting to increase my storage space and need another hard case to take my devices to photo/work sessions.

I chose the hard case for the Manfrotto Pro Light Reloader Tough-55. Instead of buying another Pelican, I'd prefer to try Manfrotto because it offers some extra features that the Pelican doesn't have.

The Manfrotto case looks like a pelican in terms of size and some features. The wheels are an appropriate size and run smoothly. Since I only have one, it looks like the boxes can be stacked on top of each other based on the trunk and lid.

Manfrotto Tough 55 is available in two different models. Close the bottom and close the top. I chose High Lid and to be honest, the only difference from what I saw is about an inch on the cover and a $35 price difference.

There is a nice handle on the side of the lid, as well as two hooks to keep the lid closed.

There is a handle included in the box. Pulling the handle allows the handle to slide up and out. The only thing I would have liked was that there was a knob halfway between the knob and the label. Swans have it and feel natural. Pulling the handle on the handle makes the handle feel a little uncomfortable, because it's unbalanced in the middle.

Hooks are more secure. To open the cover, you must pull the red switch before lifting the gray switch. And if you're traveling and need to lock your bag, there's a switch next to each switch.

There is a metal rod on the hook. Manfrotto offers accessories such as backpacks, tripod bags and laptop sleeves. This is especially useful when you need to move around freely without having to move it separately.

The interior looks spacious, but takes up a little more space due to the large wheels and handles. The bottom of the lid is lined with foam and is slightly hidden inside the lid. Swan foam is poured with a lid. It's great for protection, but I think it takes up little space, especially if you have teeth that protrude a little more than the hard case.

There is a rubber gasket all around the box to keep water and dust out, as it is IP67 rated.

It also comes with a tripod case that attaches to the case for quick and easy access. Nice to go in, but I prefer the tripod case (pictured) because it offers more protection.

Stamps of these various configurations are included in the Manfrotto Tough 55 for reference. Based on the Velcro system, its configurations are unlimited and can be adapted to any computer you have.

I chose Splitter because I can set it the way I want it. Because it provides pre-cut foam for extracting the parts. It provides reasonable protection, but it limits how much you can carry, and if you change gear, the size you just took may be too large for your new gear and may not provide the same level of protection.

The image on the left shows the default settings that were set when they arrived. How do I set up the correct image. I ended up with some extra distributors that I didn't use.

I have an R6 with RF 24-70 f2.8L, R5 with RF 70-200 f2.8L, RF 15-35 f2.8L, and a 600EX-RT II with an XTAR SN4 battery charger. Houra. Random accessories like the Think Tank Photo CPS Pixel Pocket Rocket, Peak Design Slider strap, and LP-E6NH battery are dotted around the top right corner. On the left side of the belt there is a pocket that I use to store cables and such.

Conclusion: Overall, the Manfrotto Pro Light Reloader Tough 55 Rolling Carry-On Case is durable and sturdy. The distributors are large enough to keep your equipment safe. I would like small distributors to have velcro attached to another distributor.

I'd like to see the TrekPak split system, but the Pelicans only have them because they bought the TrekPak. It gives a much cleaner setup.
