XTAR contacted us to see if we would be interested in reviewing their BC4 AA/AAA charger. We said yes because it has the capacity to charge both AA and AAA batteries, but we also wanted to see how much it can charge devices.
You will receive a BC4 USB-A-USB-C cable, LAN page and manual in the box. XTAR sent me AA batteries, but they are sold separately and you will have to provide them yourself.
The BC4 supports 1.5V Li-io / IMR / INR / ICR and 1.2V AA / AAA Ni-MH batteries.

The cover is easy to remove and close securely. When you open the cover, a blue band appears where the battery is. This strap makes it easy to remove the battery by pulling on the strap.

There are four red or green LEDs on top, each with 25% LEDs. If you want a portable AA charger on the go, the BC4 is great because it's lightweight and portable. Suitable for charging this battery.
As I said, there are LEDs. It's more designed for emergencies to help you with everything you do, like power outages, and you have to tick the fuse box. Obviously it doesn't light up the whole room, but it's enough to see everything you want.

To activate the LED, press and hold the side button for 2 seconds. You need at least three batteries to make an LED light.
The BC4 is not designed to replace your power bank and will not fully charge your device. Your battery is limited to the intended maha. Combined with XTAR VN2 it can charge the camera battery but this is not enough for shooting as it has less power.

On four alkaline batteries you charge in about four minutes, but on four lithium-ion batteries you get about 30 minutes. As you can see, the BC4 is better for charging your phone or whatever, and you need a little more power to charge your device.
Summary The XTAR BC4 AA/AAA rechargeable USB charger is generally suitable for emergencies and is not designed to replace or replace portable batteries. It is good to use different types of batteries when you are in a difficult situation.
It also doubles as an AA/AAA charger, so if you're looking for a charger to charge your flashlight, glasses, TV remote control, or toys, this is a great compact charger.
The BC4 fits in your purse or pocket and is easy to carry. So if you don't have enough power for your phone, this will be a temporary charger that will help you to charge your device until it is fully charged. You don't expect your camera battery or your battery to charge anything.
