Kickstarter: Mobile by Peak Design
Our best friends at Peak Design have just launched their 10th Kickstarter campaign . Peak Design has entered the smartphone accessories market with its new mobile phone line .
Start with SlimLink, a square mounting plate that sits on a magnet and a ceramic insert. Peak Design has created everyday cases for the iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S20 that include Slimlink. But if you do not have one of the listed phones, do not worry Peak Design has you covered with their universal adapter. It's a smart link sticker with 3M VHB on the back that lets you attach it to the back of your favorite suitcase. Peak Design plans to support more smartphone models on a daily basis in the future. Peak Design is also working to make its products compatible with Apple's new MagSafe feature.
SlimLink lets your phone quickly hit a variety of mobile branding accessories. Peak Design offers mobile tripods, wallets that serve as stands, wall mounts, cars, bicycles, motorcycles and stand products. There is even a wireless charger.

In the meantime, check out our unpacking videos and quick guides on some of the products shipped to us. This product range has great potential. I know most people will be a little disappointed with the lack of phone support available. But one must remember that this is the first step and there are so many mobile phones in the market that they have to choose which one is the most popular which has the biggest market share. Today there are universal adapters.
I would personally use an Android user (Google Pixel 2XL) and a universal adapter. I'm in the market to upgrade our phone.
