However, if you immediately need an adapter to mount the EF / S-RF lens for your project or leisure, there are alternatives from other manufacturers. We have compiled a list of brands and where to buy them. Adapters retain all the capabilities of autofocus and image stabilization and have no optical components, so they retain the original optical quality of the attached lens. The only difference between OEM and a third party is the quality of the material and the addition of a lens / tripod collar (if any). They don’t harm a bank like Canon or rising prices in used markets, but will keep you ahead until you get a Canon version or feel the need to get an OEM.
